Learning Environments
French For Little Ones provides students with early exposure to the French language and school experience in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Young children learn best when learning through play, at their own pace, and in their own way. Play and learning coexist to help students grow and achieve their very best.
The early years are a magical time of growth at French for Little Ones Playschool. We recognize just how special this phase of life is for each child and family. Learning is everywhere in our community.
Toute Petite Section
2's Program
During your child's first experience
in a school environment, they'll discover social interaction and develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as relational and intellectual abilities while being introduced to the French language.
No prior exposure to French is required for our 2's program. Students must be 2 years and 5 months by the first day of school. All students must be toilet-trained.
Petite Section
3's Program
Children will focus on developing creativity, reasoning and imagination, autonomy, and fostering the spirit of initiative. A strong foundation in the areas of communication, pre-academic skills, and physical development is laid.
No prior exposure to French is required for our 3's program. Students must be 3 years old by the first day of school. All students must be toilet-trained.
Moyenne Section
4's Program
Children benefit from coaching that helps them understand why reading, math, and science are useful. They are prepared for success in Kindergarten through a balance of social and academic development.
4's students must be 3 years and 10 months by the first day of school. Students must have at least 1 year of experience at a French immersion preschool or are native French speakers.
After School
We've partnered with PLAY Kids Greenpoint to offer an extended day after-school program option for children ages 4-8 years old. The after school program offers a structured curriculum focused on French language proficiency and cultural knowledge. Lessons are accessible and fun—taught through themes, books, games, art, and songs.
